| GreenMatter is underpinned by various statistical and qualitative research, as well as national reports and studies regarding skills needs, demand and supply, national education and job creation. This information must be regularly updated to continuously guide and evaluate the sector’s human capital development programme i.e. GreenMatter implementation. For this reason GreenMatter has embarked on a Skills Intelligence project to develop relevant information to support the development of a national system for the biodiversity sector. GreenMatter has partnered with the CATHSSETA and Rhodes University in funding Phd studies in that will contribute to the sector skills intelligence. Phd students have been selected and research has begun. The system development will commence in 2014. |
